About Performance Sporting
Performance Sporting is a brand that is dedicated to enhancing player performance. Founded by Vaughn Maceina, Sean Cullinan, and Bill Neville, this brand has a rich history that dates back to 2003. It all began when Bill Neville collaborated with Coach Tommy Tuberville and Hugh Nall to develop a system for Auburn University's football program to grade players more efficiently. This system eventually evolved into a comprehensive football analysis product called "FPS" or "Football Performance System", which was later used by Auburn University's football program.
Although FPS was put on hold for almost a decade, Vaughn Maceina, now an Assistant Coach of the Offensive Line at Fairhope High School, recognized its value and reached out to acquire the software. Instead of offering the outdated technology, Performance Sporting decided to redevelop the grading portion of the software into a modern web-based product called Football Gradebook. This innovative tool allows coaches to efficiently grade players and enhance their overall performance.
