PerfTime

PerfTime is a race timing company based in Wausau, WI, serving the timing needs of races in Wisconsin and beyond. With over a decade of experience since its establishment in 2006, PerfTime has steadily grown, relying on word of mouth as its primary means of marketing. They specialize in timing various events, including citizen races and high school cross-country and track meets.

PerfTime features two primary methods of timing: a chip timing system from RFID Timing and conventional timing using Summit Timing Systems timers. Both systems provide accurate, reliable, and timely results, tailored to the specific needs of each event. The company is led by John Burke, who handles software setup, timing configuration, and manages the technical aspects of race timing on the day of the event.

He is supported by his family and occasionally enlists the help of friends for specific functions. Additionally, PerfTime offers track and field services, administering meets for local high schools using a FAT timing system. They have been doing this since 2008, providing timing services, meet set-up, and facilitating invitational, regional, and sectional competitions for high schools throughout Central Wisconsin.
