About Perform Europe
Perform Europe is an innovative funding initiative designed to enhance the European performing arts landscape by fostering international collaboration and promoting diversity, inclusivity, and sustainability. Operating across 40 Creative Europe countries, Perform Europe prioritizes funding for touring projects that reflect these values, particularly those involving underrepresented communities. The consortium leading this initiative includes prominent organizations such as IETM (International network for contemporary performing arts), European Festivals Association (EFA), and Circostrada, among others.
Since its inception, Perform Europe has successfully supported numerous artistic partnerships, showcasing over 45 works of art across various disciplines. In its latest edition, launched on December 1, 2023, Perform Europe has allocated €2. 1 million to fund at least 35 projects, with a particular commitment to supporting the Ukrainian performing arts sector.
The open call encourages diverse, inclusive projects, aiming to strengthen the touring capacity of performing arts professionals and organizations, ensuring a vibrant cultural exchange throughout Europe
