Perhepalvelukeskus Kotisatama Oy is a family services provider based in Seinäjoki, Finland, offering professional rehabilitation and support for families through child welfare open-care services. Its work is planned, goal-oriented, therapeutic and trauma-informed, with a focus on children’s safe development, strengthening parenting, and building individual and family resources.

Family rehabilitation is available in furnished, private accommodation at Kotisatama’s Seinäjoki unit or as outreach support in a family’s own home. Services are tailored with the family and social worker and may include practical guidance for everyday life, parenting discussions, support for parent-child interaction, therapeutic activities, family assessments, financial guidance and network collaboration. Specialized support is offered to families expecting or caring for a baby, including help with parenting, infant care and early attachment. The organization also provides intensive family work, professional support persons, supported and supervised visits, and rehabilitation-based work toward family reunification, including in connection with ending a child’s placement in care. Staff are present on weekdays and Saturdays, but the unit does not provide round-the-clock staffing.
