Peri & Pause is a midlife women’s healthcare practice serving Raleigh, Fuquay-Varina, and patients throughout North Carolina. Founded by Jamie Gallagher, DNP, FNP-C, MSCP, the clinic focuses on compassionate, evidence-based care for women experiencing perimenopause and menopause. Its approach considers the whole person, recognizing that hormonal changes can affect sleep, mood, energy, metabolism, sexual health, and long-term wellbeing.

Services include personalized treatment plans, evidence-based hormone therapy, annual exams, preventive screenings, and support for concerns such as weight changes, bone health, and cardiovascular risk. The practice also offers short-term, problem-focused counseling for patients seeking additional support during midlife transitions. Appointments are available in person at its Raleigh and Fuquay-Varina locations, as well as virtually across North Carolina, with some availability on Saturdays. Peri & Pause aims to help women understand changes in their health, feel heard and supported, and make informed choices for their current and future wellbeing. The clinic does not currently accept insurance and offers self-pay options, including HSA and FSA payments.
