Perigordiäns

Perigordian’s Board Games is a French board game brand based in Le Bugue, in the Dordogne. Its featured game, Auca, reimagines the classic Game of the Goose as an adventure centred on exploration, collecting and the heritage of the Périgord region. Players journey through the fictional kingdom of Perigordiä as heroic geese, gathering ingredients, completing challenges and seeking golden feathers.

The game’s ingredients include walnuts, strawberries, grapes and truffles, which players can use to make recipes and earn rewards. Along the way, they may explore forests and markets, visit taverns and stone huts, discover treasures, consult recipe books or travel by river. The different goose characters each bring their own personality and regional inspiration to the adventure. Auca combines collection and discovery with a playful introduction to local landscapes, foods and traditions. Perigordian’s Board Games provides information about the game and its components, including the ingredients, game tiles and setup, through its website. The brand is located in Le Bugue, France, and provides contact details for enquiries.
