Perinatal Support Washington (PS-WA) is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to promoting perinatal mental health for all families and communities. Since 1989, they have been supporting Washington care providers and families in their emotional transition to parenthood, including those experiencing depression, anxiety, infertility, trauma, and more. They offer a variety of services to meet the needs of individuals and families.
Their toll-free peer support line, known as the Warm Line, has been operating since 1991, providing invaluable support to parents in need. Additionally, they provide mental health therapy, free and low-cost new parent support groups, culturally-matched peer support in King County, and training and consultation for healthcare providers. Perinatal Support Washington is proud to manage the WA Postpartum Support International State Chapter and actively works towards education and advocacy on perinatal mental health issues.
With the help of their dedicated staff, board members, and volunteers, they strive to ensure that families across Washington have access to the support they need during this crucial time
