Perkins Bar & Bistro is a beloved family-run restaurant based in Plumtree, Nottinghamshire, with a rich history spanning over 30 years. Initially opened in 1982 by Tony and Wendy Perkins, the establishment has consistently focused on quality and personalized service, making it a popular destination for locals and visitors alike. In 2002, the next generation, Jon and David, took the helm, enhancing the menu while maintaining the bistro's family values.
At Perkins, great food is prioritized, sourcing fresh, local ingredients through longstanding relationships with suppliers. The menu is dynamic, allowing talented chefs to craft dishes based on seasonal availability, ensuring a unique dining experience with every visit. Notably, Perkins features its own smokehouse, established in 2005, where chefs create delicious smoked delicacies like salmon, mackerel, and ham.
