DeleteMe

Permission Slip is a data privacy app that has joined DeleteMe, combining its mobile tools with the broader privacy services of Abine, Inc., the company behind DeleteMe. The app helps people understand what information companies collect and take steps to manage their personal data. Users can submit requests asking companies to stop selling their information or delete accounts and associated data, then track request status.

The free offering includes opt-out and deletion requests, while Permission Slip Plus adds automated opt-outs from more than 100 data brokers, bulk requests, and concierge assistance from agents who complete complex forms on users’ behalf. Plus subscribers can also send bulk opt-out requests to consumer-facing companies, with the site describing up to 50 requests in one go. Permission Slip is available for iOS and Android.

Its stated mission, alongside DeleteMe, is to make data privacy simpler and stronger, helping individuals regain control over information collected, bought, and sold by companies
