Perry-Komdat

Perry-Komdat Funeral Chapel is a family-owned funeral home in Averill Park, New York, serving the Sand Lake and Poestenkill communities and surrounding areas for more than 70 years. Based in a landmark chapel, the team provides compassionate guidance to families arranging services after a loss or planning ahead. Offerings include traditional funeral services, cemetery burial, memorial services, and cremation, with options tailored to individual wishes and budgets.

The chapel also provides personalization, including custom memorial cards, photo videos on DVD, and acknowledgments, as well as visitation and viewing services. Staff can assist families with arrangements involving local cemeteries, florists, and food venues, and local clergy may help create meaningful tributes. Perry-Komdat offers online preplanning resources, including a planning form and checklist, and support materials for those experiencing grief, including resources for children.

Families can also find obituaries, send flowers, receive obituary notifications, and access practical information about funeral etiquette and what to do when a death occurs. The chapel is available by phone, email, or in person
