PerSe

PerSe is a Brazilian self-publishing and book-commerce platform created by authors for independent writers and those beginning their careers. It helps authors publish, promote, sell, and distribute printed books and e-books while retaining their rights. Authors can create a free account, upload a manuscript, set its price and royalties, and make the work available through the PerSe store.

Print-on-demand production means books are printed as they are sold, without requiring authors to maintain stock, and digital titles can be published and sold as e-books. The platform also offers professional services to improve book quality, including proofreading and text correction, layout and graphic design, cover creation, and assistance with ISBNs, catalog records, and DOI. Authors can use the PerSe simulator to estimate print or digital costs and request service quotes.

Additional initiatives include the Apparere project, a reader-review project, a digital creator resource, and an author community on WhatsApp. PerSe provides a marketplace across a wide range of subjects and presents itself as a free-to-publish option with no monthly fees
