Persimmon Ridge Golf Club is a private golf club in western Shelby County, Kentucky, offering members a distinctive golf experience in a scenic natural setting. Its centerpiece is an 18-hole championship course designed by Arthur Hills, whose layout follows the land’s woods, creeks, lakes, and 120-foot elevation change. The course stretches to 7,113 yards across five sets of tees and is known for being both challenging and enjoyable. It received Golf Digest’s Outstanding Design award in 2007 and was ranked among Kentucky’s top golf courses in 2022.
The club supports golfers of different skill levels with professional instruction, player development, and the Golf Academy at Persimmon Ridge, which includes teaching and training resources. Membership also provides access to Polo Fields and Oxmoor Clubs. Beyond golf, members and guests can enjoy dining at Elmore’s Restaurant, as well as banquet events and wine and spirits offerings. Golf outings and a calendar of club activities add further opportunities to gather and enjoy the club’s facilities.
