About Have You Seen Flynn??
Kabaret is an indie narrative games studio based in Malaysia. As part of Persona Theory Games, their mission is to captivate a global audience through interactive experiences that tell compelling Southeast Asian stories. With a diverse team of creatives from various fields like advertising, comics, film, and documentaries, Kabaret is passionate about Romancing Southeast Asia one legend at a time.
Their journey began with the success of their hit mobile game, Sara Is Missing, which won the SEA Independent Mobile Games Awards. In July 2020, they released their first studio game, Fires At Midnight, receiving rave reviews for its narrative and artistic skill. They have recently launched Kabaret, and their upcoming project, The Lonely Hearts Petshop, will feature collaboration with the prestigious Malaysian animation studio, R&D Studios.
Kabaret has been featured in international events such as Xbox Showcase, Gamescom Asia, and Game Dev of Color, solidifying their presence in the gaming industry. They have also released two short films on traditional arts, supported by the US Embassy in KL and Pusaka. As active mentors and partners for game events, Kabaret continues to break boundaries by seamlessly blending traditional arts, games, films, and Southeast Asian stories
