Perth Running Festival

The Perth Running Festival is a mass-participation fitness event held around Burswood Park and the Swan River in Perth. Designed for people with a range of abilities and goals, the festival offers several ways to take part, including a 4km Dash, a 10km walk or run, a half marathon and a marathon. The course is described as flat and scenic, with every event finishing inside Optus Stadium, giving participants the chance to see themselves on the stadium’s big screen.

The festival provides practical race information such as event guides, course maps, course flyovers, race bib collection details and road-closure updates. Participants can also access results, event photographs and live broadcasts. Beyond race day, the festival welcomes volunteers, corporate teams and partners. For 2026, it is supporting Telethon as its charity partner and encourages entrants to fundraise for services and opportunities benefiting sick, vulnerable and disadvantaged children in Western Australia. Combining accessible distances, a prominent stadium finish and community fundraising, the Perth Running Festival brings together runners, walkers, families and supporters for an active event in a distinctive Perth setting.
