UnderLX

UnderLX is a multifaceted community-driven project focused on public transportation in Portugal, particularly the Lisbon Metro. Designed to enhance the commuting experience, UnderLX aims to develop a comprehensive mobile application that will monitor service quality and offer objective statistics related to the Metro. The initiative also emphasizes the promotion and discussion of public transport issues through social media channels, while encouraging greater usage of public transportation by creating innovative technological solutions.

Founded by Gabriel Maia, UnderLX operates as part of a larger entity known as Segvault, which encompasses various software and system administration projects. Both groups share resources but are distinct in membership and operational focus. The open-source software created under this project is available on GitHub, allowing community participation in the ongoing development of the application and the Perturbações.pt website. UnderLX is run by volunteers who are dedicated to improving public transportation and mobility, operating independently yet collaboratively for promotional purposes.
