Pessebres Palau

Associació Pessebrista de Palau-solità i Plegamans is a cultural association in Palau-solità i Plegamans, active since 1983. The organization celebrates the art and traditions of nativity scenes through an annual exhibition featuring more than 36 dioramas, carefully created miniature scenes that bring the Christmas story to life. Its year-round activities invite residents and visitors to participate, learn and share creative interests.

The association runs an annual school of nativity-scene making, where participants learn techniques for designing settings, modelling buildings and landscapes, engraving and painting, then apply them at miniature scale. Workshops offer further opportunities to develop these skills and improve artistic work. Other initiatives include exhibitions of models depicting notable local buildings, designed to encourage interest in the town’s history.

Seasonal community events include visits from the Royal Page, a Christmas Tió gathering and a sausage sandwich event around the Three Kings parade. Members also meet monthly to exchange cava and bottle-cap collections. Through exhibitions, education and local celebrations, the association brings together art, culture and community participation.
