In 1996, the first-ever privately-owned clinic, with registration number 001, was at 146 Xóm Đất, District 11, Ho Chi Minh City. This is the precursor of PetCare Veterinary Hospital nowadays. In June 2005, An Viet Veterinary Service Private Limited Company – PetCare Hospital was founded by Dr. Huynh Thi Thanh Ngoc. The hospital has 5 branches in Ho Chi Minh and Vung Tau City.
