The Petersens is a family band based in Branson, MO, that specializes in American roots music. Their music brings together the harmonious vocals and instrumental talents of the four kids (Katie, Ellen, Matt, and Julianne), mom and dad (Karen and Jon), and honorary Petersen, Emmett Franz. Each member of the band has their own unique role, contributing their skills as fiddle players, banjo players, guitar players, mandolin players, dobroists, and more.

Their music serves as a wholesome alternative, offering a positive and uplifting escape from the chaos of everyday life. The Petersens welcome listeners into their community, inviting them to join in on their musical journey. Started by their father, who was inspired by a bluegrass festival, The Petersens have mastered their individual instruments and play a variety of shows in Branson.
