Petersminde Ridecenter was a family-run equestrian centre and riding school in Mørkøv, in the scenic Nordwest Zealand region of Denmark. Operated by Inge and Alex Birksted, it served children and adults with group and private riding lessons, as well as adapted instruction for riders with disabilities. The centre also hosted competitions, rider badge tests, courses and social events throughout the year.
Its facilities included an indoor riding hall, dressage and jumping arenas, and access to nearby forest trails. During summer holidays, Petersminde offered residential riding camps for children and young people aged 8–16. Campers were assigned their own horse or pony and took part in daily riding lessons, arena training and forest rides. Accommodation, meals and activities such as swimming, riding games and competitions were also part of the camp experience.
After 42 years, Petersminde announced that it would close its riding school on 31 March 2025, as its owners retired along with several of the horses.
