Petite Ambassadors

Petite Ambassadors Day Nursery is a London childcare provider caring for children aged nine months to five years. Founded in 2022 by director and manager Christabelle Longdon, the nursery is guided by her more than 20 years of childcare experience and a master’s degree in Early Childhood Studies. Its aim is to give each child a supportive start, helping them develop confidence, independence and the foundations for future learning.

The nursery offers a caring environment for children and families, with activities that are both child-led and adult-initiated. Its approach supports personal, social and emotional development through play, physical activities and practical life skills, while recognising each child’s individual background and needs. Children also take part in outdoor experiences, including visits to parks, libraries and other destinations, as well as Forest School activities. Families can receive updates about their child’s day through an app, including information about meals, naps and activities. The nursery also keeps a budgie, Spencer, whose care offers children opportunities to learn about animals, responsibility and empathy.
