Petite Violette Restaurant and Catering

Petite Violette is a family-owned Atlanta restaurant with roots dating to 1974, when chef Wolfgang Gropp opened it as Petite Auberge. Today, it continues the Gropp family’s tradition of serving French specialties and Continental classics, including Beef Wellington, Coq au Vin, and rack of lamb. The restaurant offers weekday lunch and dinner, plus dinner on weekends, with food available for pickup and delivery.

Beyond its dining rooms, Petite Violette hosts private celebrations and business gatherings in dedicated banquet spaces, with the option to rent the entire restaurant. Its catering service provides delivery and takeaway for social and corporate events, meetings, conventions, employee lunches, and on-location productions, with menus that can be customized. Guests can also enjoy an interactive murder mystery dinner theater featuring professional actors, audience participation, and a four-course French meal. An on-site olive oil boutique sells approximately 30 varieties of fresh, flavored and infused olive oils and vinegars, available for custom blending and bottling. Seasonal and holiday menus add further variety throughout the year.
