Petone Rugby Football Club, established in 1885, is one of the oldest rugby clubs in Wellington. With a strong emphasis on the values of pride, respect, fair-play, and courage, our club welcomes people of all ages and skill levels to join our rugby community. Whether you're interested in nursery grade, rippa, junior footy, women's rugby, colts, or senior rugby, we have a place for you.

We even offer opportunities to volunteer or support the club. In addition to rugby, we also have a thriving netball community, with dedicated girls who excel on the court and contribute to the club. We encourage girls of all ages to get involved in our national game.

With a proud history and a multicultural mix of members, Petone Rugby Football Club has produced numerous All Blacks, Black Ferns, and NZ Maori representatives. Our club has won the Wellington premier championship 38 times and the club championship 42 times. We also have a strong partnership with our naming sponsor, Mitre 10 Mega Petone, who has supported us immensely over the years.
