About Pet Placement Center
Pet Placement Center is a small, private adoption agency and Chattanooga's oldest no-kill animal shelter. We are dedicated to reducing animal suffering by promoting diligent animal care, finding responsible homes for animals in need, and emphasizing responsible guardianship. Our mission includes advocating for spaying or neutering to reduce overpopulation.
At Pet Placement Center, we operate solely on donations, adoption fees, and fundraising projects. We do not receive agency funding or government assistance, ensuring that our work is driven by the community's support. With a team of dedicated staff members and a passionate board of directors, we carry out our mission to the highest standards.
Located at 5975 Dayton Blvd., Chattanooga, TN, our shelter is open from Wednesday to Sunday, from noon to 5:00 pm. Please note that our hours may vary during holidays. As a private, 501(c)3 non-profit organization, all donations made to Pet Placement Center are tax-deductible and directly benefit the well-being of the animals we care for.
