It was incorporated as Petralon Energy Limited on January 1, 2014. Shortly after, in the same year, Petralon made a significant farm-in to a 35% interest in the Dawes Island Field. Several successful campaigns followed, including the re-entry drilling/side-track campaign of the DI-1 well, initial well tests, and extended well tests on the Dawes Island Field.
Petralon Energy recently celebrated its 5th anniversary, and their commitment to growth and success continues. With the revocation of the Dawes Island Field from the erstwhile Joint Venture, Petralon was awarded a 100% interest and operatorship of the field. Additionally, they acquired a substantial shareholding interest in Prime Oil & Gas.
