Petras Cafe

Petras Cafe is a locally rooted café and confectionery on Yrjönkatu pedestrian street in central Pori. Founded in 2005, it welcomes guests to pause over coffee and treats, either indoors or on its terrace near the market square. The café’s own bakery makes sweet and savoury offerings on site, with choices ranging from traditional Pori masaliisa cake to seasonal creations. Guests can enjoy waffles, pastries and other items from the display cases, alongside coffee and cold drinks.

Petras Cafe also prepares hearty soups and generous salads for lunch. Its weekday soup menu includes bread, spreads and after-lunch coffee, although soup service may be seasonal. For celebrations and everyday occasions, customers can order cakes and refreshments through the online shop. The selection includes celebration cakes, sandwich cakes, cheesecakes, savoury pies, small cookies, seasonal treats and gluten-free products. Online cake orders must be placed at least 48 hours ahead; the café notes that phone orders may sometimes be possible with less notice. The cafe is open Monday to Saturday and closed Sundays.
