Petrea Imports is a licensed importer and wholesale distributor specializing in fine, artisan Italian wines. With over 20 years of experience in the industry, we take pride in offering a carefully selected portfolio of wines produced by our trusted wine makers. As a woman-owned local business based in Ocean Isle Beach, NC, we are committed to supporting our community and promoting the rich Italian wine culture. Our founder, Howard Rusty Petrea, immersed himself in the world of Italian wines during his time in the U. S.
Navy and established strong relationships with wine makers. After retirement, he and his wife, Carol Petrea, became certified importers and wholesalers, sharing their passion for boutique Italian wines. In 2021, Petrea Imports was acquired by Betsy Braddock, a local builder and wine enthusiast.
