Petr Hora

Petr Hora is a Czech glass artist who has explored glass as an artistic material for more than 20 years. Drawing inspiration from ancient art, pyramids, contemporary architecture, human figures and nature, he transforms shapes and ideas into distinctive sculptures. His work is characterized by carefully considered forms and a sensitive use of color and light; apparently simple finishes reflect extensive grinding and polishing.

The Petr Hora collection presents glass sculptures, including new works, clean-lined forms and cut glass, as well as objects designed for interiors. The portfolio also features the Maldives project, a series of unique glass installations inspired by the colors and shapes of the tropical ocean, and detailed miniature pieces that showcase precise craftsmanship. Hora studied glassmaking in Chlum u Třeboně and Železný Brod. His work has received awards in Germany and the United States and has been exhibited internationally.
