Petrich´s Alpakas

Petrich’s Alpakas is a family-run alpaca farm in Unterthingau, in the Allgäu region of Germany, operated by Maria and Klaus Petrich. The farm invites visitors to explore the surrounding countryside in the company of its friendly, curious alpacas and enjoy an up-close experience with the animals. Animal welfare is a priority: the alpacas are cared for responsibly, with their health, grooming, and access to space emphasized.

The farm offers two guided walking experiences for groups of two to ten people. The Small Alpaca Tour lasts about one hour and costs €55 per group, while the Large Alpaca Tour lasts around 90 minutes and costs €75 per group. Both include an experienced guide and are available on weekdays and selected weekends. Tours are suitable for all ages, although participants must be at least ten to lead an alpaca independently. Visitors are advised to wear sturdy footwear and weather-appropriate clothing. Petrich’s Alpakas also sells gift vouchers, making its tours an option for a memorable present.
