Pets E. Ternal is a family-run pet cemetery in Narre Warren North, Melbourne’s south east, cared for by husband-and-wife team Terry and Karen Ryan. The service offers families a peaceful, personal way to say goodbye and remember a much-loved pet.
Families can choose burial in the cemetery’s quiet grounds, where each pet has an individual grave and loved ones can attend the burial and return to visit. Burial includes the first year of plot maintenance, with an annual exclusivity and maintenance fee applying from the first anniversary. Individual cremation is also available, with ashes returned in a scatter tin or hardwood box, usually within three to five business days. The website lists cremation for pets up to 30 kg and burial for pets up to 40 kg.
Pets E. Ternal can collect pets from home or a veterinary clinic across metropolitan Melbourne for an additional fee, or families may bring them to the grounds. The team provides a soft shroud, rose, canopy, chairs and an optional paw print.
