Peyvand is an Iranian marriage-matching service operated by the Peyvand Paydar Iranian Institute. Established in 2009, it combines online, compatibility-focused searching with a traditional, family-centered approach to getting acquainted. The platform is intended exclusively for people seeking permanent marriage; friendship and temporary marriage are prohibited under its membership rules.

Peyvand describes its service as charitable and entirely free, with no membership fees for registration, letters, or online chat. Its advanced search tools help users compare profiles against a wide range of personal preferences and characteristics. The site also provides question banks to support conversations, alongside articles, a library, and educational videos about marriage, choosing a partner, and its proposed “electro-traditional” process.

The service says it does not collect identifying details such as users’ full names, national identification numbers, or home and workplace contact information, allowing members to keep their identities private initially. Further introductions are encouraged to proceed in a safe, family-oriented manner. Peyvand also offers Android and Windows applications and a Telegram registration option.
