Peyvand is an Iranian matchmaking and marriage service operated by the Peyvand Paydar Iranian Institute. Established in 2009 after four years of research, it follows an “electro-traditional marriage” approach, combining advanced online search and compatibility-focused selection with a cautious, family-centered introduction process. The service is intended exclusively for people seeking permanent marriage; friendship and temporary marriage proposals are prohibited, and users who violate these rules may be removed.

Peyvand describes itself as a charitable, entirely free platform, with no membership fees for registration, messaging, or online chat. Its matchmaking tools let members search across nearly 90 preferences and personal characteristics, review profiles, assess compatibility, and express interest. The site also provides a question bank to support conversations and mutual understanding, along with articles, a digital library, selected book materials, and educational videos about choosing a spouse and following its introduction model.

The service says it does not collect identifying details such as legal names, national ID numbers, addresses, or phone numbers, allowing members to keep their identities private until they choose to share them. Peyvand offers a website, Android and Windows apps, and Telegram registration options.
