Pferdedeckenservice von Aschwege

Von Aschwege Pferde-Decken-Service is a family-run specialist based in Edewecht, in Germany’s Ammerland district. Drawing on a lifelong connection to horses and around 20 years of experience serving equestrian businesses and private customers across northern Germany, the business cares for horse rugs and riding equipment so they remain clean, functional and ready to use.

Its services include professional cleaning, disinfection, waterproofing and repair of stable, outdoor, turnout, rain, fly and drying rugs. The workshop also repairs and alters riding and driving equipment, including saddles, bridles, saddle pads, numnahs, riding boots and zippers, as well as leather goods. For larger collections of rugs, a collection and delivery service can be arranged by agreement.

The business combines traditional sewing skills and specialist workshop equipment with industrial washing facilities and air-drying space. It also emphasizes environmentally conscious practices, using water-based cleaning products, impregnation products without fluorocarbons and self-generated photovoltaic electricity. In addition to its repair and care services, the family runs a horse farm and breeds Dartmoor ponies and Oldenburg horses.
