Pferdefutterberatung

Laura Köhl provides independent, individualized feeding advice for horses, serving owners in North Rhine-Westphalia and Rhineland-Palatinate. Based near Bornheim, she offers in-person consultations within roughly 100 kilometers, as well as online appointments for clients farther away. Her services include individual and stable consultations, along with events, talks, and seminars.

The advice is manufacturer-independent, tailored to each horse and owner, and informed by current scientific research in equine nutrition. Consultations consider factors such as the horse’s health, feeding routine, forage, and management to develop a practical feeding plan. Support is available for everyday questions, including choosing a mineral supplement to complement hay, as well as more specific needs involving weight management, limited hay intake, muscle development, or conditions such as PPID, EMS, PSSM, laminitis, digestive concerns, and skin problems. Recommendations are explained clearly, with attention to affordability and suitable alternatives. Laura’s approach aims to help owners make informed feeding decisions and provide horses with an appropriate diet, whether they are addressing a particular challenge or simply seeking to improve their horse’s overall nutrition.
