Pferdefuttercoachch

Founded by Eva Hiestand, a practising equine veterinarian and equine dental specialist, the business draws on her veterinary experience, scientific training and further education in equine nutrition and feeding management. Because she does not sell feed, her recommendations are not tied to a particular manufacturer.

The consultation begins with a detailed history and assessment of the animal’s circumstances and, where relevant, its medical situation. Eva reviews the existing ration, evaluates whether it supplies appropriate nutrients in suitable amounts, and identifies possible issues. Clients receive a written report with a practical, individual ration proposal, implementation guidance, suggested feed sources and, where useful, management recommendations. Support is also available during the transition and for further adjustments.

Services include consultations for individual animals, groups and equine businesses, as well as talks on horse feeding for associations, groups and veterinary practices. The company also offers general advice on equine medicine and management.
