Hesta-Kykki is a family-run Icelandic horse farm located on the edge of Sandkrug in the Oldenburg region of Germany. The team aims to provide a welcoming, professionally managed home for horses and riders, drawing on more than 25 years of horse-keeping experience. Led by managing director Clara Friedrich, whose qualifications include horse breeding and management, Icelandic horse training, judging and instruction, the farm offers a broad range of services.
These include horse boarding with comprehensive care, individually tailored riding lessons, training and preparation for horses, and breeding. Its breeding program focuses on producing willing, reliable leisure partners with natural tölt, and the farm stands two stallions, Hausti frá Kagaðarhóli and Bragi frá Litlu-Tungu 2. Hesta-Kykki also helps prospective owners find a suitable horse for sale.
Riders can take part in courses, workshops, trail rides and other events, with dates shared through the farm’s calendar. The associated IPF OL-Land e. V.
club is also featured on the site, alongside news and activities for young riders
