Pferdehof Ramthun

Pferdehof Ramthun offers horse-drawn carriage and covered-wagon rides on the island of Usedom, setting off from Heringsdorf to explore the historic Kaiserbäder and the island’s natural hinterland. Led by Falk Ramthun, the tours combine scenic travel with information about local nature, architecture, people and history. Routes pass through places such as Ahlbeck, Bansin, Gothen and Korswandt, with options to see woodland, meadows, historic villas and Wolgastsee. Guests can choose a tailored outing or one of the planned routes.

The Vis-à-Vis carriage, built in a historic style, seats up to five and is suited to relaxed, romantic rides and special occasions, including weddings and anniversaries. For larger groups, the modern covered wagon accommodates up to 20 passengers, with journeys for as many as 40 possible by arrangement. It has large viewing windows, and winter rides include blankets and hot drinks. The smaller Jagdwagen seats two to eight and offers a comfortable, weather-conscious alternative. Rides are available throughout the year, with the Vis-à-Vis carriage mainly operating from April to October.
