Better Moves is the equine therapy practice of Karin Philipp, based in Großaitingen, Germany. Its work focuses on physiotherapy and osteopathy for horses, with the aim of supporting freer, more comfortable movement. Philipp studied veterinary medicine at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich and received her veterinary licence in 2000.
From 2007 to 2009, she completed training in equine osteopathy at the German Institute for Equine Osteopathy (DIPO), whose programme is open to veterinarians, physicians and physiotherapists. This clinical foundation supports the recognition of conditions and contraindications, and the involvement of appropriate specialists when needed. Her continuing education includes manual and RollArt fascial techniques, acupressure, acupuncture, leech therapy, homeopathy and Bach flower remedies.
She has also taken courses in Dual Activation and Equikinetics, methods associated with Michael Geitner. Better Moves brings together equine-focused therapeutic services and a broad range of complementary training, with Karin Philipp’s veterinary education informing her approach to each horse
