Pferdeosteopathie Lange

Pferdeosteopathie Mareike Lange provides osteopathy and physiotherapy for horses, with treatments aimed at improving mobility, easing pain, and supporting the horse’s overall well-being. Practitioner Mareike Lange trained as a veterinary medical assistant before completing her equine osteopathy and physiotherapy training in 2019. She also has additional training in Schachinger dry needling and traditional Chinese veterinary acupuncture for horses.

Services address concerns such as lameness, stiffness, reduced performance, difficulty bending or being ridden, back sensitivity, muscle tension, and restricted joint movement. Treatment may include assessment of movement and trigger points, joint mobilisation, muscle and tendon stretching, gradual muscle building, massage by hand or with a Novafon device, acupuncture, and kinesiology taping. The practice also offers support for rehabilitation after accidents, falls, or surgery, as well as age-related care.

Treatments generally take place at the horse’s familiar surroundings through home visits. Owners can contact Mareike Lange by phone or email to discuss their horse’s history and arrange a consultation. A patient questionnaire is available to help prepare for treatment.
