Gemeinschaftspraxis für Pferde Lichterfelde is a mobile equine veterinary practice run by veterinarians Tarna Zilm-Hanstein and Philipp Hanstein. Serving southern Berlin and nearby areas of Brandenburg, the practice provides care at the horse’s location, from routine health checks to urgent treatment, with emergency telephone support available around the clock. Its approach combines veterinary expertise, modern mobile equipment and individual care tailored to each horse’s age, needs and history.
Services include general medicine, preventive care, vaccinations, deworming, laboratory diagnostics, ophthalmology, internal medicine, orthopaedics and lameness investigations. The practice also offers comprehensive dental care, including examinations, corrective treatments and extractions, as well as purchase examinations, endoscopy, gastroscopy, digital mobile X-rays and ultrasound. Surgical services include wound treatment, abscess drainage, skin-tumour removal and castrations.
Additional support covers emergency medicine, nutrition advice, ration calculations and dietary planning. The team treats acute cases and provides ongoing or routine care, working with owners to support their horses’ health. Appointments are arranged by telephone, and veterinary services are billed according to Germany’s current fee schedule for veterinarians
