Pferdetherapie-Lohnstein

Pferdetherapie-Lohnstein is the equine therapy practice of Astrid Lohnstein, based in Neu-Anspach, Germany. As a horse osteopath and physiotherapist, Lohnstein supports equine health and wellbeing through targeted, gentle treatment intended to improve physical and psychological balance, mobility, comfort, and performance. Services include osteopathy, craniosacral therapy, physiotherapy and rehabilitation, massage, medically functional taping, tailored training and therapy plans, and physical treatments using heat or cold.

Treatments may help address musculoskeletal conditions, falls, irregular movement, stiffness, muscle tension, and difficulties under saddle. The practice also offers support during postoperative recovery and after periods of rest, as well as preventive care and assistance with declines in performance or behavioral concerns such as saddle sensitivity, fear, nervousness, aggression, or headshaking. Lohnstein uses techniques focused on muscles, joints, and fascia to help relieve restrictions and tension, supporting better coordination and easier movement. Her work also reflects an ongoing commitment to professional learning, collaboration with other equine therapists, and thoughtful horse training. Horse owners can contact the practice to discuss individual needs and suitable treatment options.
