Pferdezucht Ammerland

Gestüt Pferdezucht Ammerland is a horse-breeding and care facility in Westerstede, Germany, owned by Carmen Deitermann. It provides services for breeding mares and young horses, with a focus on attentive, individual care and healthy, species-appropriate development. Mares can stay on a full-board basis, including daily care, insemination and foaling support. Foaling can be monitored by camera and an alert system, and the facility can accommodate insemination using frozen semen without requiring the mare to leave the farm.

Young horses are raised in small groups, separated by age and sex, with plenty of space to exercise and opportunities to develop social behaviour. Care is available from weaning through approximately three years of age. The facility also offers early training and preparation for mare performance tests, breeding events and potential licensing inspections for young stallions. Further services include horse marketing and rental of horse transporters. With decades of experience, Gestüt Pferdezucht Ammerland supports owners in assessing their horses’ development and planning their future breeding, riding or sporting roles.
