Pferd und Training

Pferd und Training Laura Wiegers provides horse-training instruction focused on healthy movement, horse welfare, and a thoughtful partnership between horse and rider. Based in Velbert, Laura offers mobile lessons in the Mettmann district, with appointments arranged by agreement. Her services include riding instruction rooted in classical German riding theory and “Longieren als Dialog” (lunging as dialogue), taught according to the Osteodressage concept. Instruction is available to beginners and more experienced riders, and is tailored to support each horse and handler.

Laura also offers video analysis and training planning to help clients understand their horse’s condition and make informed decisions about its training. Her approach emphasizes practical, well-founded knowledge that can be incorporated into everyday horse care, rather than prioritizing performance over the animal’s wellbeing. Drawing on her own experience and her horses, Ninja and Novaris, Laura aims to provide the considered, supportive guidance she once sought herself. Through lessons and ongoing training support, Pferd und Training helps owners develop their skills and build a healthier working relationship with their horses.
