Pff, formally founded in 1998, is a unique civil society organization in Pakistan dedicated to advocating for the social, economic, cultural, and political rights of fisherfolk and peasants. With a strong and widespread support base, Pff is committed to improving the livelihoods and well-being of these communities. Pff engages in various thematic areas, including sustainable livelihood and food security, water rights, environment and climate change, and disaster risk reduction and emergency response.

They also focus on organizational development and incorporate cross-cutting themes in their work. Through ongoing projects and campaigns, Pff actively works towards initiatives such as mangrove protection, promoting peasants' rights, ensuring rivers remain free, advocating for climate justice and clean energy, and addressing the detention of fishers and occupation of islands.
