Pflegedienst IN Edelweiss kids

I&N Edelweiss kids GmbH is a pediatric home-care provider based in Schriesheim near Heidelberg. It supports sick children and their families across southern Hesse, eastern Rhineland-Palatinate and northern Baden-Württemberg, helping young patients receive care in the familiarity of home. Its services include ambulatory pediatric nursing after surgery and for children with chronic conditions, as well as specialized out-of-hospital intensive care for seriously ill and ventilated children.

The team cares for patients from a few weeks old through age 17 and works closely with children’s hospitals in Heidelberg, Mannheim, Ludwigshafen, Darmstadt and Frankfurt. Family care is also available, providing temporary practical and social support when a parent is unable to manage those responsibilities. The company emphasizes qualified medical care, respect for each child’s needs and emotional support for the whole family.

Its stated aim is to help children maintain quality of life while easing the demands on parents and relatives. Edelweiss kids also describes a planned “Haus der Marienkäfer,” intended to provide round-the-clock intensive care in a family-oriented setting for children who cannot yet return home
