Berufsfachschule Pflege Stephanusstift is a state-recognized vocational nursing school in Delmenhorst, Germany. Working with a range of care providers and training organizations, it prepares students for professional practice through generalist nursing education. Graduates who pass their examinations can receive state recognition as Pflegefachfrau or Pflegefachmann. The school has also trained specialists in elderly care, with some earlier cohorts completing their qualifications under the former regulations.
Since October 1981, the school has trained more than 900 professionals and describes its experience as spanning 45 years. Its curriculum follows legal requirements and is designed to develop the knowledge, skills, and abilities needed for responsible care. Teaching combines structured learning situations with practical perspectives, supported by instructors who have experience in elderly care, health and nursing care, disability support, and pediatric nursing.
Guided by a Christian-humanist view of the person, Stephanusstift emphasizes professional competence and engaged, whole-person care. In addition to initial training, the school offers seminars, including 24-hour continuing education and training for practice instructors.
