Pfyl Stiftung

Pfyl Stiftung is a non-profit charitable foundation based in Zurich, Switzerland. It supports high-quality, visionary, distinctive and sustainable projects in Switzerland across urban planning, architecture, design and art, as well as biology, with a particular emphasis on ecology, evolution and nature conservation. Its work includes funding and promoting research, development, production and education, and it places special focus on the training and continuing education of professionals in Switzerland.

The foundation can also initiate projects that bring these activities together. It maintains a collection of results and works produced through supported projects, and may add relevant gifts to the collection. Collection items or portions of the collection are intended to be accessible to the public; the foundation may transfer marketing rights for collection pieces to third parties. Its project portfolio includes initiatives such as Ampel Magazin, Teatro Dimitri, Kinderzirkus Robinson and Lou’s bunte Nachbarschaft, alongside projects in art, design and other fields.
