The Prince George Cycling Club (PGCC) is an inclusive community organization in Prince George, British Columbia, promoting road, mountain, and urban cycling. It welcomes riders of varied ages, interests, and experience levels, including racers, trail riders, commuters, and casual cyclists. The club organizes rides, races, events, camps, and clinics for members and families, and shares information about local cycling activities through its event calendar, website, and social media.
PGCC supports cycling across the region, with information on road riding and racing, urban pathways and commuting, and mountain biking on local trails. It is responsible for upkeep of the Pidherny Recreation Site and coordinates volunteer trail-building and maintenance groups. The club also provides opportunities to participate through membership, volunteering, sponsorship, and trail sponsorship. Its events include road races and time trials as well as mountain-bike enduro competitions. PGCC acknowledges that its riding areas are on the traditional, unceded territory of the Lheidli T’enneh people and expresses a commitment to nurturing relationships with Indigenous peoples.
