PGFFL

The Phoenix Gay Flag Football League (PGFFL) is Arizona's premier recreational flag football league, dedicated to fostering a welcoming and competitive environment for the LGBTQ+ community. Established in 2005, PGFFL has grown from a handful of players to nearly 130 participants, offering two seasonal play opportunities each year. As a 501(c)(3) organization since 2018, the league is committed to giving back through volunteer work, fundraising, and strategic community partnerships.

Their mission centers on providing a safe space for all players to achieve personal growth while pursuing athletic goals, free from judgment. The PGFFL emphasizes values of inclusivity, leadership, athleticism, and community giving. Through sports, the league aims to break down stereotypes and promote public education about the LGBTQ+ community. With a vision to become the leading LGBTQ+ sports organization in Phoenix, PGFFL showcases exceptional sportsmanship and fosters lasting relationships, making it more than just a football league—it's a vibrant community hub.
