PGHA Ice Kats

Peterborough Girls Hockey Association (PGHA) is a community-based organization serving girls’ hockey in Peterborough, Ontario, and a proud member of the Ontario Women’s Hockey Association. It offers opportunities for players across representative, House League, and Development Stream programs. Representative teams compete at a range of age groups and levels, while House League provides a local playing experience. The tryout-based Development Stream gives House League players an added opportunity for competition and skill development, either as a bridge toward competitive hockey or for those seeking more without the time and cost commitment of representative play.

PGHA supports participation with registration information, coach and volunteer resources, officiating guidance, schedules, game results, and tournament programs, including its Ice Kats tournaments. The association also provides financial assistance initiatives to help families manage hockey costs and offers the Ice Kat Scholarship to recognize graduating players’ dedication to hockey, community involvement, and plans for further education. Its website shares news, calendars, apparel information, and practical resources for players, families, coaches, team staff, referees, and timekeepers.
