Pittsburgh Warriors Hockey is a dedicated 501(c)(3) organization that serves as a support network for honorably discharged veterans with service-connected disabilities. Utilizing the sport of hockey as a therapeutic outlet, this group aims to foster physical and mental healing, promote camaraderie, and create meaningful connections amongst its members. Operating within the DVHL (Disabled Veterans Hockey League), the Pittsburgh Warriors provide weekly ice time, jerseys, and equipment to facilitate participation from November to March, along with opportunities for national travel tournaments.

Open to all veterans regardless of prior hockey experience, the organization’s mission extends beyond the rink, focusing on building lifelong friendships and a supportive community. The Warriors emphasize a safe and positive environment, steering clear of substance abuse and unprofessional conduct.
